Fresh Beats & Swaggy Dance Moves: November Appreciation

fullsizerender-1Today at the end of the Student of the Quarter Breakfast, FALA middle school Social Studies and Theatre teacher, Mr. Douglas Lyerly, was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation and gift basket from the FALA Volunteers Appreciation Program, Students, and Parents.

Tappreciation-basket-for-doug-lyerlyhe Certificate of Appreciation stated: “For being an outstanding, caring teacher and DJ. FALA dances would be nothing without your fresh beats and swaggy dance moves. Thank you for going above and beyond! We appreciate you!”

Every teacher at FALA takes on extra duties and goes above and beyond, so it was almost impossible to make this choice, but everyone agreed that giving up your nights to DJ your heart out for school dances is pretty special!

A student presented the certificate and gift to him, and there was a big room of parents, students, teachers, and Dean Crawley to cheer for him!
