FALA Spring Dance Info | Rehearsal Schedule

The Spring Dance Concert is around the corner so with that there are some important dates and items you should be understand. As the support unit of our budding dancers we greatly appreciate your time and energy.

Tech/Dress Rehearsal is on Wednesday May 1, 2019.  This is a long process and dancers will need to be at the Clifford White Theater from 4-9:00pm (ish).  They should have all their dance items, homework to do during wait times, a water bottle and something (non-messy!) to eat. We are working on getting some healthy snacks to have on hand, but you should send your own, just in case.

This is not a time for parents to stay and watch. NAU theater staff does not want people there while we are trying to work, plus we do not want to ruin the surprise of seeing the show. Please be ready to pick up your child(ren) when we are done. You can drop off or pick them up in the back parking lot.

Tickets are a $10.00 donation per ticket and they can be bought at the FALA Office (in advance) or at the Door. Past experience has shown that it will sell out, so parents are encouraged to purchase tickets early.  Only Cash or Check are accepted, and no tickets can be held. All tickets are general admission and the house will open half an hour before showtime.

Why are families asked to to buy tickets and why is it called a donation? Plus other important info!

  1. The cost of the tickets cover most of the expenses of the Performance. Without this we would not be able to put on these amazing shows.

  2. We say a 10.00 donation per ticket so we do not have to use the NAU box office. If we were to charge an outright price then then we would have to go through NAU and it will add about a 12.00 dollar surcharge to the EACH ticket, making the price around 22.00 dollars each.

  3. We added a Matinee show this year due to the demand for tickets. The Winter Show sold out both nights and we, sadly, had to turn people away. This is a professional theater and we have to follow the rules for safety. There are 300 tickets for each show so it is important to buy the tickets as soon as you can to get the performance you want. They are on sale now at the FALA office and must be purchased in person with cash or check only. Any tickets left over, if any, will be sold at the door.

  4. Parking, the back Parking lot is open after 4:30 on friday, The NAU Parking Cops are very quick to hand out tickets before then.

  5. These Performances are the dancers final Exam and so it is important that they be there ready to go to all rehearsals and performances. Thank you for all your support and help, we look forward to entertaining you soon!
